Our Fees
The overall fees to join as a member of the Rockingham Swimming Club are made up of three separate components:
Membership Fees (annually)
Coaching Fees (monthly)
Pool Entry Fees (membership or per pool entry)
Each component needs to be paid for separately, as they are paid to different entities - refer to information below:
Come & Try Membership Fees
COME & TRY SPECIAL
Come & Try Membership is a 90 day membership that is available from January through to end of June 2024.
Squad level is determined by a qualified coach’s assessment.
Swimmers are entitled to a free two week trial before the program commences. (Note: Transfer swimmers, or swimmers that are existing SWA members, or have previously been members are not eligible for a free two week trial.)

Annual Membership Fees
Our normal membership year runs from 1st October through to 30th September, matching with the start of the Long Course competition season.
Come & Try Membership is a 90 day membership that is available from January through to end of June 2024.
Swimmers may join at any time of the year and discounted memberships are generally available from 1st April.
Different membership categories entitle members access to different events both at State and National level.
For 2023/24 season these membership categories and fees are:
MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS
(Excluding 5 Year Old Junior Dolphin Members)
SWA: There is no discount on the SWA Membership component.
RSC: Three swimmers receive 20% off the RSC Membership component. Four swimmers receive 35% off the RSC Membership component. Five swimmers receive 50% off the RSC Membership component.
COME & TRY SPECIAL: Come & Try Membership is a 90 day membership that is available from January through to end of June 2024.
PART YEAR/WINTER MEMBERSHIP: Discounts are available for new swimming members joining after 1st April. However, this doesn’t apply to the Junior Dolphin Membership or the 90 Day Come & Try Membership.
Coaching Fees
Our coaching fees are billed monthly and paid by Direct Debit through Payrix.

PLEASE NOTE
Membership fees and pool entry are separate from coaching fees.
The Club offers 50% off coaching fees for third and subsequent family members paying fees by direct debit.
Coaching fees are not able to be adjusted if swimmers cannot attend the set number of sessions each week.
If a situation arises that your child is unable to participate in training sessions under medical advice, for a minimum of 2 weeks, a medical certificate is required to be to be considered for fee adjustment.
If a swimmer is out of the pool for a period of time throughout the season due to holidays, fees are still payable.
If there are any issues with fees, it is the parents’ responsibility to contact the Club Treasurer.
If a direct debit payment is missed / rejected for any reason, $4.40 will be added to the member’s direct debit account.
Overdue coaching fees will be reviewed on a regular basis. Subject to management committee discretion and parent discussion, swimmer/s could be removed from the coaching program and the monies owed referred to the Club’s debt collection agency. All fees and charges incurred with the collection of unpaid coaching fees, will be at the expense of the swimmer or the parent/guardian of the swimmer.
Pool Entry Fees
Membership and coaching fees do not include entry into Aqua Jetty. Rockingham Swimming Club members may pay each time they enter the centre, but we recommend swimmers become Aqua Jetty members as well to ensure access to the centre during restricted entry times (COVID lockdowns etc).
